Dr. Jason E. Garber

Background

Jason Garber studied history at Duke University before earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

He trained in neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Over five years of residency he operated on every part of the spine, from the base of the skull to the sacrum, using front, back and side approaches. That breadth still shapes how he plans an operation today.

He then completed a fellowship in complex spine reconstruction at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2002 he moved to Las Vegas, where he has practiced ever since. He became board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2004.

Beyond his own patients, he teaches as a clinical instructor at Touro University Nevada. He has also served as a clinical investigator in spinal cord stimulation research.
